| You have friends to run with for training and racing. Our members run at all levels of ability. | |

| Race of the Month | |
| To encourage club participation and camaraderie, we designate a local "race of the month" at each club meeting, and encourage everyone to come out to that race. | |
| Group Trips | |
| Frequently, individual members will arrange a group trip to a race out of the area. Members have participated in all the major marathons, such as Boston, New York, London, San Francisco, Las Vegas and of course, Los Angeles | |
| Social Activities | |
| We also put together family picnics, summer pool parties, beach parties, holiday parties, and occasionally even a dance. It's always a surprise to see what everyone looks like in "clothes." | |
| Club Uniform | |
| You'll be proud to wear the distinctive A Snail's Pace team uniform. It's an effective psychological tool at the races. The official team uniform is available to all club members at a bargain price. | |
| Racing Team | |
| Any especially fast members, who can meet the qualifying standards, are eligible for our Racing Team. Elite runners selected for our Racing Team receive some special considerations, thanks to our new balance affiliation. For more information about our qualifying standards please inquire at any A Snail's Pace Running Shop for a Racing Team application form. | |
| Newsletter | |
| Our free monthly newsletter faithfully reports your race results and keeps you informed of all club activities. | |
| Fun Runs | |
| We meet every Monday and Wednesday. Nonmembers are always welcome. More information is available on our "where we run" page. | |
| Monthly Meeting | |
| The monthly club meeting is held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (following the Fun Run). The meetings and Fun Runs are great opportunities to get to know other members and to trade stories about training, injuries, races and triumphs. | |
| If you enjoy
running, we'd love to have you join our group. Our club dues are $30 for
an individual and $50 for a family. If you'd like more information,
please contact Bob Morris -- he's taken on the job of liaison. We have a web

you can also download a membership registration form which is in
